Lake Tunis is shallow, it surrounds the 1 meter. It lies between the city of Tunis and the Gulf of Tunis . Along the lake formed two distinct parts:
North Lake (2600 hectares) and South Lake (1100) hectares.
Lake Tunis in Tunisia can now be used for fishing or simply to admire beautiful bird colonies coming together around this, you will find mainly beautiful flamingos so do not think further prepare your stay in Tunisia !
